When I had to relocate to Poland. I wasn’t very enthusiastic, because to be honest, I didn’t think of it as an attractive destination. However, I was deeply surprised to discover so much to see and do and still reminisce about the time spent there. I get back whenever the chance and hope to update the posts made here.
Poland turned out to be a great place for a passionate traveler. And it’s not only due to its size and numerous beautiful cities, but Poland is worth visiting for many more reasons, from nature to its history, architecture and culture, people and cuisine.
For now, I’d like to share some impressions on Warsaw, the capital and largest city of Poland. It’s where I lived for two years and some, in the Mokotow district.
Warsaw
The main symbol of Warsaw is the mermaid (syrenka). It can be found on different statues around the city and on the city’s coat of arms. The legend says that Warsaw’s Mermaid is sister with Copenhagen’s Mermaid…
